Install the App

You can install Joker’s LG-Toolkit as a desktop or mobile app. Installed apps open in their own window, launch faster on repeat visits, and feel more like a native app than a regular browser tab.

Chrome

1. Open this site in Google Chrome.
2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install LG Toolkit.
3. Confirm the install prompt to add the app.

On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen if you do not see the address-bar install icon.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open this site in Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or open Settings and more and choose Apps, then Install LG Toolkit.
3. Confirm the install prompt to add the app.

On Android, open the Edge menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen if you do not see the address-bar install icon.

Safari on Mac

1. Open this site in Safari on macOS.
2. Choose File, then Add to Dock. On newer macOS versions, open the Share menu and choose Add to Dock.
3. Launch LG Toolkit from the Dock like any other app.

Safari on iPhone and iPad

1. Open this site in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Add to place LG Toolkit on your Home Screen.

iPhone and iPad (Chrome, Edge, and other browsers)

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and other browsers on iPhone and iPad cannot install web apps. Apple only allows installation through Safari.

1. Copy this page’s address from your current browser.
2. Open Safari, paste the address, and load this site.
3. Tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add to place LG Toolkit on your Home Screen.

Firefox on desktop

Desktop Firefox does not install PWAs on its own. Use the PWAs for Firefox extension instead.

1. Install PWAs for Firefox from Mozilla Add-ons.
2. Complete the setup wizard that opens automatically: accept the license agreement, install the native program, and install the Firefox runtime. See the extension setup guide if you need help.
3. Open this site in Firefox.
4. Click the install icon in the address bar, then confirm installing LG Toolkit.

If the install icon does not appear, open the extension menu from the toolbar and use its install option instead.

Firefox on mobile

Firefox on Android and iOS does not support installing PWAs or adding sites to your home screen as an app.

• On Android, open this site in Chrome and use Install app or Add to Home screen.
• On iPhone and iPad, open this site in Safari and use Add to Home Screen.

Already installed or not seeing the option

• If the app already opens without browser tabs or an address bar, it is already installed.
• Install options usually require a secure HTTPS connection and a supported browser.
• On iPhone and iPad, use Safari’s Add to Home Screen flow instead of looking for a desktop install icon.
• If you are using Chrome, Edge, or another non-Safari browser on iPhone or iPad, switch to Safari first. See iPhone and iPad (Chrome, Edge, and other browsers).
• Firefox on mobile cannot install this app; use Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS instead.
• If you dismissed the in-app install prompt, show it again or use the steps above for your browser.
